Bubble Bread

This sweet gooey treat is perfect as a dessert or for breakfast. It's sure to be a favorite with anyone.

1 stick butter, melted
1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 loaves frozen bread dough, defrosted

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Mix the sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small mixing bowl. Roll bread out to about 1 inch thick and cut into 18 pieces each loaf. Dip each piece in the melted butter and then roll into the sugar mixture. Place pieces side by side around the bottom of an ungreased bundt pan. Once all pieces are in the pan, sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture over the top. Place a damp towel over the top of the pan and place in the warmed oven until the bread rises. Increase oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 30 minutes (do not wait for the oven to reach 350 degrees before starting the timer because you will overcook the bread.)

Remove from the oven and cool for 1 minute. Flip onto a platter or cake plate. Cool completely.

IMPORTANT! Do NOT let the bread cool completely in the pan as it will be impossible to remove it.

I have been searching for quite some time for this recipe. It's one of my favorites. A nice mix between cinnamon roll, and sweet bread. Very very tasty. Little did I know that the recipe was in her pretty little head all this time... Now I do. A great recipe for breakfast treats, Pot-Lucks, Or just to have around the house. Excellent warm with a bit of a la mode... This is an easy recipe to make that requires little effort. It's sweet and oh so good. I made this for work once and one of the managers ate 3/4 of it all by herself. She was definitely on a sugar rush. Just pay attention to the directions about cooling. I once let it cool longer than directed and it was like glue to get it out. The bread got ruined.

Just ask. Seriously, it's not a problem. No...really. We might want a reciprocal link or something, but what's the worst that could happen, we say "yes"?
