Of course we all know that we are going to need some of these if we are to have a party for St. Pat's. A brief collection as my homage to the fine art that is mixology, and the rarer art of being able to remain vertical after a few of these. Be advised, you try and work through this whole list, you're on your own. I don't have a perfect hangover cure, other than drink responsibly. And in no way shape or form are these to be used by any minors. MINERS, yes. MINORS no.If you are a minor, hit the back button please.
| Emerald Cocktail |
| 1 oz gin 1 oz dry vermouth 1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur 1/2 oz Midori melon liqueur |
| Stir ingredients together in a chilled cocktail glass, and serve. |
| Irish Catholic |
| 3/4 oz Jameson Irish whiskey 1/4 oz amaretto almond liqueur |
| Pour ingredients in equal parts into a shot glass, and serve. |
| Black Irish |
| 3 parts Bushmills Black Bush Irish whiskey 1 part Kahlua coffee liqueur 1 maraschino cherry |
| Stir all ingredients together over ice, and allow this to sit for a minute to settle |
| Shillelagh |
| 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey 1/2 oz sloe gin 1 tsp over proof white rum 1 tsp peach schnapps 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tsp sugar syrup |
| Combine ingredients in a shaker, pour over ice. |
| Black Velvet |
| 5 oz chilled stout 5 oz chilled Champagne |
| Pour Guinness into a champagne flute, about half way. Float the champagne on top and serve. |
| Smooth Black Russian |
| 1 shot vodka 1 shot Kahlua coffee liqueur 1 dash Coca-Cola 1 dash Guinness stout |
| Add Vodka, then Kahlua, add a splash of coke, stir. Top off rocks glass with Guinness. |
| Carbomb |
| 1/2 shot Irish whiskey 1/2 shot Bailey's Irish cream 1 pint Guinness stout |
| Fill shot glass with Whiskey and Irish cream, drop into full glass of Guinness, and chug. Good Luck. |
| Nutty Irishman |
| 1 oz Bailey's Irish cream 1 oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur 1 oz cream |
| Mix in shaker, serve over ice. |
| Irish Paddy |
| 1 oz Bailey's Irish cream 1 oz creme de cacao 1 oz green creme de menthe |
| Mix ingredients in a shaker and serve over ice. |
| Irish Mint |
| 3 parts Bailey's Irish cream 1 part green creme de menthe 6 parts milk |
| Mix the Bailey's and Creme de Menthe first, then add the milk, and stir. Serve very cold. |
| Irish Hot Chocolate |
| 1 oz Bailey's Irish cream fill with Nestle hot chocolate |
| Pour in the Baileys, then add the hot cocoa. Top with cream, or marshmallows. |
| Irish Ghost |
| 1 oz Bailey's Irish cream 1 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur 1 oz Irish Mist herbal liqueur 2 oz cream |
| Mix ingredients in a shaker until chilled and serve. |
| Irish Float |
| 1 glass Coca-Cola 1 shot Bailey's Irish cream |
| Float irish cream on top of the cola. |
| Irish Cappuccino |
| 1/2 oz Bailey's Irish cream 1 cup cappuccino |
| Simply add Bailey's to a cappuccino. |
| Paddy's Caffeine |
| 1 shot Tia Maria coffee liqueur 1 pint Guinness stout |
| Add Tia Maria first, then pour as usual. |
| Grog |
| 2 oz dark rum 3 oz water |
| Pour over ice. |
| Guinness Shandy |
| 1/2 pint Guinness stout 1/2 pint lemonade |
| Do not float, just pour them in together and let them mix. A sweeter lemonade works best. |
| Guinness Float |
| 3 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 bottle Guinness stout |
| Just like a real float, add the ice cream, slowly pour the Guinness over the ice cream. |
| Black & Brown |
| 1 part guinness 1 part root beer |
| Fill glass halfway with your favorite root beer. G E N T L Y add the Guinness. USE CAUTION, this can be a very foamy mix. Go slow. |
| Black Fog |
| 1 pint guinness 2 shots chambord |
| Pour the guinness, and add the shots gently. |
| Black & tan |
| 1 part Bass pale ale 1 part Guinness stout |
| Fill glass half way with Bass, pour Guinness gently over the back of a spoon and onto the bass. The Guinness should float on top. |
| Chumbawumba |
| 1/2 pint Beer 1 shot Vodka 1 shot Scotch Whisky 1/2 pint Strongbow Cider |
| Pour the cider and beer, stir in the shots. |
